I did the few hikes at the Episcopal resort and liked them.Only two miles from the ski slopes, swimming, tennis, golf, boating, fishing, extreme mountain biking, zip lines, and minutes from hiking, wineries, cideries, dining and so much more. The resort is sort of between nearby Springs which has the Episcopal retreat and the Bryce resort. The living room furniture could be replaced, but that is a common issue with timeshares. If you are booking directly through the resort, I'd ask for a top floor. Unfortunately, with timeshares, you can't guarantee which unit you will get, so it sort of just comes with the game. We were hear a week and it was a pretty big issue 2 nights trying to sleep. The big issue is that if you are on the bottom and someone is above you, you will hear every step. It's sort of hard to picture, but there is a wrap around walking deck around the units. Most buildings have a unit on top and a unit on bottom.
This is a timeshare resort that we traded into via Interval International. I'd love to give this place 4 stars, but the sound proofing can be an issue. I definitely plan on returning given the opportunity!…
I especially enjoyed the beautiful scenery in Basye and nearby towns that include rolling hills, quaint churches, cows and more cows, and mountain tops that touch the clouds. Among the activities are, spectacular caverns to explore, a zoo, horseback riding, ATV riding, fishing, canoeing, biking, hiking, tubing, zip lining, etc. Just be forewarned and careful when driving, as the roads are curvy and very steep, since you are driving through a mountain pass. There is so much to see and do here, or within an hour drive, through all the seasons. The locals were so very friendly, and a few even inquired whether we were aware of the upcoming concerts scheduled for the week and also suggested cool places to visit. There is a quaint general store one minute away, in which you could even do your grocery shopping for the week, that is, if you aren't concerned about a huge selection. A binder was supplied that included information on everything from the local grocery stores to the barber shop to local the entertainment, along with travel time and distance.

I was quite impressed with the view of the mountains from our living room and deck and the room was spotless, equipped with full kitchen and supplies, washer and dryer and a large jacuzzi tub. We drove around the condos a bit looking for the office and finally found it to the left of the condos, as we had missed the sign for the office when driving into the entrance. We decided to drive through the night from Pennsylvania to avoid traffic and were informed we could find our room key and room info.
